1. Private twin bedrooms upstairs in the house. Each room has it's own washing basin with hot & cold water. Shower and toilet facilities are shared.
2. Private apartments with separate rooms and ensuite. They have their own entrances, are at the rear of the guesthouse and have their own shower & toilet facilities.

Communal Lounge
In the guesthouse we have a communal lounge. You can enjoy the facilities at any time during the day and evening. We have a comfortable lounge, cable TV, stereo and games to play.

Pension Zonnehoek is a strictly non-smoking area

Breakfast
Breakfast is served every morning between 7-10 am. A variety of healthy products are served. People with special dietary needs should make their own arrangements. Breakfast for our houseguests is served at the dining table in the communal lounge. Guests in the apartments may have their breakfast served in their units.

Arrival & Transport on the island
Visitors arriving by ferry can use coach-bus or taxi. Alternatively you can rent a bike and leave your luggage with the driver who will deliver it to our guesthouse for you. The bus stop is in front of the guesthouse.

Because the island is relatively small, there is little need for motorised transport. The general mode of transport is by push bike and walking. Bicycle rental agencies are located all over the island.

Our neighbours across the road offer a bicycle rental service. We can arrange a bike for you to be available at arrival or you can contact them directly by phone (0562) 448883. They will be happy to organise pick-up of the bikes at the ferry terminal and deliver your luggage to our guesthouse.

Cars can be brought onto the island. However it is expensive and there is limited street parking available at the guesthouse.

Terschelling offers extensive possibilities for walking, cycling or just enjoying nature.

You can hire bicycles at arrival in the harbour; your luggage will be delivered at our address, while you immediately can start and enjoy a great cycle trip over the beautiful cycle path network that you connects just about every place on our island.

You can also book your bicycles at the time of reservation and we'll take care that you have your bicycles on arrival at the guesthouse.
